SMS Banking Services shall only be available on the following Account types.
Usage Process
- All existing Value Added SMS alerts subscribers will be eligible by default to use this service.
- If you have not as yet subscribed to the Value Added SMS alerts:
Go to the messaging feature of your mobile and type sub <space> your 17 digit account number <space> first and last character of network name and send to 8810.

Following are the charges of Bank AL Habib SMS Banking:
- PKR 2/- per message will be charged from the customer's mobile air time (through the respective Telco) on each message sent by the customer.
- There will be no additional bank charges for this service; however bank may apply additional charges in future for this service.
- What is Pull SMS Banking ?
A service from which you can obtain infromation and avail services by sending an SMS to the Bank’s dedicated short code (i.e., 8810).

If you have already subscribed to the AL Habib Value Added SMS service, you can use the service.
- What are the charges of service?
There are no extra charges from Bank.
- What Telco will charges?
Telco will charge PKR 2.00 from the your mobile balance for every SMS sent by you.
- What is the maximum & minimum top up amount ?
Minimum top up amount is PKR 50 & Maximum is PKR 5,000.
- Can I avail the service if my all ADC channels are blocked?
Yes
- How to avail this service and what are its commands?
